Encryption
Files.com implements multiple forms of encryption. By default, we implement the strongest modern encryption methods and ciphers but we also allow you to configure older options for backwards compatibility with legacy systems.
Transport Layer Security (TLS), previously named Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), ensures that all network communication with Files.com is secure.
SSH encryption is applied to all SFTP based network communication.
We also provide file encryption and decryption capabilities using GPG (GNU Privacy Guard), which is an independent and fully compatible implementation of PGP (Pretty Good Privacy).
