Using our Files.com Agent, customers can seamlessly integrate Files.com platform capabilities with their on-premises file systems, including local file systems (Windows, Linux, Mac), Network File Systems (NFS), Server Message Block (SMB and CIFS) file systems, Direct Attached Storage (DAS) file systems (ATA, SATA, eSATA,NVMe, SCSI, SAS, USB, IEEE 1394), and Storage Area Networks (SAN).

Your on-premises file systems can be connected as a Remote Server Mount, making your on-premises content available in real time, or connected as a Remote Server Sync, allowing you to push, pull, or synchronize files between on-premises file systems and other Files.com storage locations.
Integrating Files.com with on-premises file systems allows your users to access on-premises content through Files.com, using a web browser, SFTP, FTP(S), AS2, WebDAV, the Files.com Desktop App, the Files.com Mobile App, or the Files.com Command Line (CLI) App.
Files.com connects with the Agent using a secure encrypted network connection.

The Files.com Agent allows you to integrate any supported on-premises or remotely hosted system with Files.com. It provides a convenient method for securely connecting on-premises file systems with Files.com, allowing you to push and pull files between Files.com and local file systems. The cross-platform Files.com Agent is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac based systems.
