You can connect with an Amazon S3 bucket located in any AWS region.
Integrating Files.com with Amazon S3 allows your users to access S3 storage through Files.com, using a web browser, SFTP, FTP(S), AS2, WebDAV, the Files.com Desktop App, the Files.com Mobile App, or the Files.com Command Line (CLI) App.
Files.com integrates with Amazon S3 using the S3 APIs via HTTPS, providing secure encrypted data transmission between the two platforms.
