Use Files.com with Webhooks
Files.com provides two forms of webhook integration.
Files.com can send outbound webhook notifications and can also receive inbound webhook calls to trigger Automation actions.
About Webhook Notifications (Callbacks)
Files.com folders can be configured to send webhook notifications, also called webhook callbacks, based on actions that occur within the folder.
The Webhook Notification feature allows you to send webhook notifications, or callbacks, to any webhook URL. The notification can be configured to only be triggered by certain file actions (Create, Read, Update, Delete, Move, Copy) or to trigger for only certain file name patterns (e.g. "*.pdf") that are matched.
The webhook payload, usually a JSON formatted description of the action that occurred to trigger the notification, can also include the contents of the file that triggered the notification.
You can configure webhook notifications for as many folders as you wish.
About Inbound Webhooks (Listeners)
Files.com Automations can be triggered by incoming webhook calls. When the webhook call is received, the Automation will execute it's actions.
You can have as many Automations as you wish, each with its own incoming webhook trigger, allowing you to create flexible automation workflows based on real-time webhook calls.
